Susan Lang

President, and CEO

Susan Lang is the founding president/CEO and has led the growth and development of Lime Connect from "concept stage" prior to its inception in 2006, cultivating and managing the organization's high-level corporate, pro bono, and strategic partnerships in addition to overseeing all day to day operations and driving Lime's growth and success. Ms. Lang has an extensive background in marketing, communications, and executive-level management in both corporate and not-for-profit settings. Prior to Lime Connect, she was the executive director of a national disability organization, where she realized a passion for changing the way people with disabilities are viewed in the workplace and was empowered to launch Lime. A graduate of Florida State University, Ms. Lang has held leadership positions on the boards of numerous business and community organizations. She is an often-requested and frequent speaker on the strengths and talent that people with disabilities possess.

Karen Acampado

Career Coach

Karen Acampado provides focused career coaching and guidance for members of The Lime Network. Karen’s role supports the professional development and success of participants in the Foundations Program for young professionals, and she assists the team with various initiatives within the organization. Karen has worked as a career services professional since 2005 at colleges and universities in the NYC area. She has always been in a people-facing role, advising undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni on the career development process. Karen has experience working on student engagement and employer relations and has managed large-scale career events. She enjoys working with individuals on interview techniques, internship/job search, personal branding, and resume development, and is passionate about educating people on how to achieve career success. Karen is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received her Master of Science in Education from St. John’s University.

Alissa Brower

Program Manager

Alissa Brower is responsible for support of the organization's engagement and professional development focus in the U.S. and Canada, strengthening the Lime Connect brand. In her role, she is responsive to, and increases engagement among, Lime Network members and corporate partners. Alissa previously served as Director of Engagement for Lime. Prior to joining Lime Connect, Alissa served as a Program Coordinator for Futures and Options, empowering NYC’s underserved youth through career exploration and professional development. She previously held the position of Affiliate Relations Manager at Dress for Success Worldwide, an international organization dedicated to helping women achieve economic independence. Alissa is a graduate of George Mason University, where she received both her B.A. in Government & International Politics and her M.S. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution.

Evelyn Cooke

Marketing and Communications Manager

Evelyn Cooke is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications initiatives to support the growth and expansion of Lime Connect. She manages Lime’s visibility across platforms through outreach materials, social media marketing, and content creation. She spearheads Lime’s storytelling initiatives, which include video profiles and the management of our digital presence. Prior to joining Lime Connect, she managed brand development and innovations for global consumer goods manufacturers and Lime Connect partner, Unilever. She has also held a variety of marketing and account management roles for growing brands with large visions including her own scholarship program and pastry venture. Ms. Cooke is a graduate of the School of Business at Howard University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

Rene Forsythe

Director of Professional Development

Rene Forsythe is responsible for leading all professional development efforts for Lime Fellows, members of The Lime Network, and corporate and university partners. In her role, she provides coaching and training for candidates as they navigate the internship and career search process and continues that support once they are established in their careers. She also works with our partners to deliver relevant content around attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining high potential employees with disabilities. Prior to joining Lime Connect, Rene spent over fourteen years in the advertising and publishing field with Saatchi and Saatchi, advancing into senior management roles in human resources. Her interest in professional development and working with young adults began early in her career when she worked in various roles in higher education. Rene is a graduate of Drew University and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling.

Jenn Grauso

Director of Engagement

Jenn Grauso is responsible for the overall strategy that promotes and grows the Lime Connect brand in the US to attract, prepare, and connect high-achieving individuals with disabilities. In her role, she develops and maintains relationships with Lime Connect’s corporate partners, supporting them in connecting with Lime Network members. Prior to joining Lime Connect, Jenn held various career services roles at both St. John’s University and the NYU Stern School of Business. Her university experience includes leadership development, employer relations, career events and programming, advising, alumni partnership, mentoring, and teaching. Additionally, Jenn values involvement with professional associations; currently serving as Director of Finance on the EACE Board of Directors. Jenn received her bachelor’s degree in Education and Mathematics from St. John’s University and her Master’s in Higher Education from New York University.

Pat Holt

Board Secretary, Special Projects

Pat Holt has been an integral part of Lime Connect's success since its founding and initially led the development of all campus and recruiter relationships for the organization. While she officially retired from her position at the end of 2009, she continues to work with Lime on special projects and Lime Connect programs in Canada. In Ms. Holt's previous career with a major public company, she held progressively responsible positions in human resources, public relations, and training, and led the companywide Commitment to Excellence corporate culture program. Well-versed in the principles of Six Sigma, she assisted in implementing the corporate training for that quality focus. Ms. Holt also worked closely with the founder, CEO, and board of directors to successfully implement strategic initiatives for the company. Most recently, she was a program director of a national disability organization, where she realized a passion for her work. Ms. Holt has held leadership positions on the boards of numerous business and community organizations.

Karen Kelsey

Relationship Manager, Canada

Karen Kelsey is Lime Connect's Relationship Manager in Canada, where she is responsible for managing and building the corporate and post-secondary educational institution partnerships integral to the success of the Lime Connect mandate in the Canadian marketplace. Karen also focuses on attracting high-potential students and alumni to grow The Lime Network in Canada, and she acts as the lead and coordinator for the active Canadian volunteer base - including Lime Connect Ambassadors. Ms. Kelsey brings strong relationship management and people management experience in the financial services sector to her role. This includes positions of increasing responsibility in retail banking as well as human resources, most recently in a senior relationship management position. Karen has also been involved in the not-for-profit sector for a number of years where she has held various executive positions on the board of an organization focused on individuals with Asperger Syndrome.

Demetrious Lara

Program Coordinator

Demetrious Lara is responsible for providing administrative support ensuring the successful execution of Lime Connect's programs and services, including bolstering the organization’s efforts to build bridges with corporate partners committed to recruiting and retaining people with disabilities. In addition, he works closely with both the Director of Professional Development and the Director of Engagement in the planning and execution of Lime Connect events, including recruitment receptions, webinars, fundraisers, and the Fellowship Program's Super Days and Symposiums. Demetrious is a 2020 graduate of American University, where he received a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies.

Helen Latimer

Career Coach

Helen Latimer works with members of The Lime Network providing actionable advice to help them move forward with their career goals. Helen’s extensive business experience includes running her own coaching practice and serving as both a Director and Vice President with DIRECTV Inc. in Los Angeles. Specializing in career and transition coaching, Helen is a member of John McKee and Associates, a prestigious international coaching organization with coaches in over 20 countries. A long-time volunteer in Toronto, Helen is Secretary and Member of the Board at CultureLink, a community organization serving the needs of diverse communities. She is the co-author of The Plan, a step-by-step guide to achieving personal balance, career success, and financial strength.
