By definition, a person with a disability is defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term or recurring issue that impacts one or more activities that others may consider to be a daily function. This definition also includes the perception among others that a disability exists.
At Lime, we know that disabilities are both visible and non-visible. In fact, 70% of disabilities among the general population are non-visible including learning and attention issues (dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD), autism, medical conditions, mental health conditions and more. On campus, that number goes up to 90%.

Filling the gap.
Lime Connect was founded in 2006 to address this broad gap in the disability talent space - connecting high potential students and professionals who could be intimidated by the corporate recruitment process with the leading corporations who understand and value the diverse perspectives PWD bring to them. An incredible value proposition. We took the challenge, have made great strides, and still have work to do.
