The annual observance of the United Nations’ International Day of Persons with Disabilities aims to promote an understanding and increase awareness of the experiences of people with disabilities. The UN has identified “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world” as the theme for 2022.
