August 5, 2020

Marcus L. is a Lime Network member and a recipient of the 2020 Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship.

Fun Fact: I’m a co-founder of a non-profit business called Krik Krak Computer Project which provides digital literacy to children in Haiti

Why did you decide to apply for the Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship?

I believe establishing a strong connection with Lime will allow me to inspire people that faced circumstances similar to mine

What are you looking forward to as a new Lime Network member?

I am excited to meet and work with various Lime partners!

What advice or thoughts would you give to someone thinking of applying for the scholarship?

The Lime scholarship won’t only provide you financial assistance for your education, but the resources and connections necessary to progress in your ideal industry.

Do you have a message for the Lime Connect Century Ride riders and fundraisers who helped fund the Pathways Scholarship?

Thank you so much for putting your heart and soul into helping those who matter to you. Your generosity has opened a gate for me to develop a stronger connection to Lime.

The Lime Connect Pathways Scholarship is designed for current high school seniors who are pursuing a degree at a four-year university or college in either the U.S. or Canada. Recipients of the Pathways Scholarship each receive $1,000 in support of their university/college studies. 2021 applications will open in the spring.

The Pathways Scholarship is funded through proceeds from our annual Lime Connect Century Ride. Find out how you can participate to support next year’s scholarship recipients.
